Terms
How ConsentIQ is used.
The full terms of service are not published yet. They will be here before you are asked to agree to them. These points already hold.
What it does
It supports consent. It never replaces it.
ConsentIQ explains a treatment to your patient and checks what they understood. The dentist still has the conversation and decides whether consent is valid.
Patient data
Your practice is in charge of it.
Your practice is the controller (it decides how patient data is used) and ConsentIQ is the processor (it holds the data), acting on your instructions. What is held, where and for how long is in the privacy notice. Owners and managers can read the data processing terms and the list of outside companies that handle the data (processors) in Settings.
Records
A sealed record cannot be changed.
A sealed record (locked when the patient finishes) is kept for at least fifteen years. Nobody can edit it, including us.
Your account
One sign-in per person.
Each member of staff signs in as themselves, so every record shows who did what. Keep your password to yourself.
